Chronic Pelvic Pain: Thinking outside the box

Topic:

Chronic pelvic pain is one of the most common reasons women go to see the gynecologist, and it can be one of the most frustrating complaints we encounter in the office.  Since chronic pain is usually multifactorial, a multisystem approach is essential for both initial diagnosis and long-term management.  We will discuss initial evaluation, the role of surgery, and options for nonsurgical management in the patient with chronic pelvic pain.
